Compensation:

Salary Range: $92,227 - $101,607
•    ROA Bonus Eligible: Up to 33% of annual eligible earnings
•    Profit Sharing: Previous 5-year average 20.17% of annual eligible earnings

Purpose:

 To provide supervisory oversight for a group(s) of detailers, including coordinating work, ensuring that job standards are being followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.

 

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Must adhere to Nucor’s safety programs and standards.
• Demonstrate conduct consistent with Nucor’s vision and values.
• Supervise detailers, review their work, assist with any reported difficulties, and identify ways
to correct deficiencies.
• Responsible for continually reassessing detailing techniques and recommending integrated,
cost-effective solutions to improving efficiencies, and participating in the development of
recommended actions.
• Track employee’s progress on assigned work.
• Assist in the performance review process and recommend appropriate salary adjustments
as needed for assigned detailing personnel.
• Perform other duties as required by your supervisor.

Minimum Requirements:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the
future.
• Vocational certificate in CAD design/drafting issued from an accredited school or college or
equivalent
• At least four years of experience as a Senior Detailer

The ability to creatively motivate detailers

Physical Demands:

• Walking, sitting, standing, bending
• Using hands to operate objects, tools, computers and other electronic equipment
• Lifting/handling computers and related equipment
• Vision abilities including close vision and adjusting focus
• Moderate noise level
