Basic Job Functions:
The role of the Batch Anneal Cab Crane Operator includes, but is not limited to, stage the Batch Anneal pre-inventory, create base loads for the shop, and load/unload the bases. It also includes assistance and participation in overall shop equipment maintenance. Able to work rotating shifts and scheduled/unscheduled overtime including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Overhead Crane Operator Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Batch Anneal crane operations and shop planning
- Cab crane operating experience
- Knowledge of Entec system
