NBSIN Trim and Roll Form Supervisor

Nucor Building Systems Indiana (NBSIN) is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Trim and Roll Form Supervisor to lead the operations of our trim/flashing and roll forming departments. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills while ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality production. This role offers an opportunity to make a direct impact by driving improvement, fostering teammate development, and supporting Nucor’s mission of continuous success through integrity and excellence.

Basic Job Functions:

Safety and Operations Leadership: Manage the safe operations of both the trim/flashing and roll forming departments while ensuring teammates follow all established procedures and standards.

Organization and Multi-Tasking: Balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining structure, organization, and attention to detail.

Commitment to Continuous Improvement: Demonstrate a strong desire to improve departmental performance, divisional efficiency, and personal leadership growth.

Collaboration and Team Relationships: Build and maintain strong working relationships with teammates and cross-functional partners including purchasing, engineering, and shipping.

Workflow Coordination: Coordinate and manage an efficient workflow that meets production goals and customer expectations.

Cost and Efficiency Management: Manage departmental costs while remaining flexible to meet changing customer needs.

Project Management: Oversee projects within the department safely and efficiently, ensuring timely completion and quality outcomes.

Teammate Development: Foster strong relationships with all teammates and remain devoted to their growth and development.

Hiring and Performance Management: Participate in hiring and discipline decisions, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide consistent coaching and feedback for teammate growth and advancement.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three (3) years of leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of PEMB (Pre-Engineered Metal Building) manufacturing
  • Prior knowledge of the roll forming process
  • Experience in fabrication
  • Extended education in a technical or engineering field
