Detailing Administrator

Are you detail-oriented and looking for a role that supports detailing and design processes? We are seeking a Detailing Administrator to assist in report generation, document processing, and team support within our Engineering Department.

Basic Job Functions:

• Generate Engineering Reports: Prepare and distribute essential reports to support the Engineering Department. 
• Process Fabrication Documents: Perform necessary data entry and generate reports to ensure accurate and timely release of fabrication documents to production. 
• Manage Document Distribution: Utilize equipment and software to efficiently disperse documents and packages as needed. 
• Drive Process Improvement: Show initiative by suggesting and implementing procedures that enhance productivity and efficiency. 
• External Customer Communications: Coordinate file delivery for design communication with customer. 
• Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Maintain a customer-focused approach when interacting with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Understand Drawings for Spot Checking: Develop a foundational understanding of detailing and erection drawings to assist in quality checks. 
• Manage Document Organization: Maintain file and erection drawing storage in an organized fashion. 
• Provide Departmental Support: Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by the Detailing Supervisor or Engineering Manager.  

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior experience working directly with the Microsoft Office suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Clerical designations or certifications.
