Basic Job Functions:
The role of the Logistics Administrator is to safely carry-out the duties required at the East Gate including but not limited to; weigh trucks in and out; sign drivers, contractors and visitors in/out: electronically print truck banners; make sure drivers wear required PPE; maintain spreadsheets for inventory changes and overweight permits; prepare bills of lading; ensuring trucks have right equipment for the load; verifying allowable weight tolerances; maintain appointment schedule book in a TMS; handle test pulls and downgrade; processing of offsite shipments; release all modes of shipments to invoice; daily balance of scale logs to shipping paperwork; following radiation safety plan; ability to run both in/outbound sides unassisted; assist Logistic teammates. Nucor teammates are expected to participate in and promote an atmosphere of cooperation and team work while maintaining compliance in all areas of the site within our Quality Control System.
This position works a rotating, day and night, 12 hr shift. This position will also include working overtime and holidays as we maintain 24/7 availability.

Minimum Qualifications:
- 1-2 years’ administrative work experience
- Prior experience in a logistics, shipping, or transportation environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
