Basic Job Functions:
Responsibilities for the Structural Lead include but are not limited to:
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead and uphold safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
- A commitment to Safety, Environmental, Quality, Productivity and Profitability through leadership throughout the division.
- Overseeing the safe fabrication of metal building components as prescribed by specifications and order releases.
- Collaborating cross-departmentally, ensuring that workflow and resource allocation is efficient, orderly, and prioritized to schedule.
- Gathering, creating, and maintaining records involving, but not limited to: safety, production, attendance, payroll, equipment inspections/maintenance, teammate development and disciplinary actions.
- Coaching direct reports to continuously improve their knowledge and skills.
- Familiarity of machinery and manufacturing processes for each process on the line.
- Communications within the group to ensure solid teamwork and a productive work environment.
- Seeking continuous improvement in every facet of team performance with a keen emphasis on safety, quality, cost, and productivity.
- Engaging with the Supervisor Team to interview, hire and hold accountable teammates within the group.
- Develop the members of the department beyond the basic functions of their role in preparation for broader responsibilities.
- Performing other duties as required including but not limited to running equipment and other production duties.

Minimum Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or GED Equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience or cross training of NBG structural operations.
- Current 1G and 2G weld certification.
- Prior leadership experience.
Must have supervisor and/or manager recommendation and must be able to perform all essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
