STRUCTURAL UTILITY -3rd Shift - NBGTX

Basic Job Functions:

• The structural utility position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, safely operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and other equipment as needed; learn select different structural line positions to the point where you can effectively cover as needed, read and interpret show drawings, perform tasks as directed by the line Supervisor and/or Group Leader, understand order processing (shop releases and run orders).

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Be able to obtain at least 1G weld certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Possess understanding of metal building systems fabrication.
• 25T, 7.5T, Flip-Rite, and Hot Roll Crane Certifications.
• Forklift Certification.
