Operator 5, 1st - NBGTX

Basic Job Functions:

      1. Safely operate and setup multiple pieces of equipment throughout the roll forming lines to effectively fill in positions as needed.

      2. Read and interpret shop drawings.

      3. Work with minimum supervision.

      4. Be able to use measuring equipment (tape measure, micrometer, squares, etc.)

      5. Safely operate overhead cranes, forklift and other equipment as needed.

      6. Perform tasks as directed by line Supervisor and/or Group Leader.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous roll forming experience.
• Previous manufacturing experience
