Basic Job Functions:

 

Approximately 12-month training and developmental position to become an NBG District Sales Manager who will be responsible for developing and maintaining a profitable volume of sales within the assigned territory and will establish and develop a Builder organization, proficient in the sale and administration of brand specific products and services. This job requires a commitment to relocate into the assigned sales territory, have a valid driver’s license and provide proof of insurance. Job requires weekly travel to carry out the responsibilities of a district sales manager, take care of our customers and build new relationships.

 

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. High School Diploma
  2. Commitment to pursue a career path as a District Sales Manager.
  3. Valid Driver’s license and proof of insurance.
  4. Willing to relocate to Terrell, TX for the duration of the DDSM training program. Upon completion of the DDSM program the candidate must be willing to relocate to any territory in Nucor Buildings Group.
  5. 2 years’ experience in sales and/or construction material and methods.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or Construction desirable.
  2. Knowledge of pre-engineered metal buildings.
  3. Knowledge of construction materials & methods.
