ADVANCE DETAILER - NBGTX - (Terrell, Tx)

Basic Job Functions:

• Detailing / drafting of parts for fabrication using Autocad®
• Creating steel erection drawings
• Detailing of primary structural framing, secondary framing parts, large assemblies and fabrication reports
• Entering and editing items in Bill of Materials program
• Preparing erection drawings using Autocad®
• Checking work of other detailers for projects of any complexity shortly after completion of initial training

Minimum Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of direct Pre-engineered metal building detailing experience.
• Experience with Metal Building Software
• High School or General Equivalency Diploma.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in either Architecture or Construction Technology
• Sound knowledge of metal building construction practices
• Strong aptitude for maintaining multiple tasks and assignments
• Strong written, verbal, and graphical communication skills
