Compensation: Average annual earnings: $67,000+ (Includes base pay, weekly overtime opportunities, and bonuses)

Need to Know:
- Coordinate and manage truck, railcar, and barge shipments while ensuring accurate and timely transaction processing.
- Administer contracts, monitor shipment performance, and maintain inventory positions within company systems.
- Serve as a key point of contact between customers, carriers, suppliers, TMR facilities, and internal teams to ensure efficient material movement.
- Analyze transportation and transactional data, resolve discrepancies, and support operational and commercial objectives.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment requiring strong organization, attention to detail, customer service, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
What You'll Do:
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Duties of the role include but are not limited to:
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of commercial, transactional, accounting, and logistics practices and systems.
- Manage contracts including entry, updates, shipment performance tracking, and inventory position monitoring.
- Coordinate and schedule truck, railcar, and barge shipments to support business needs.
- Prioritize transportation activities and maintain communication with carriers, suppliers, customers, and TMR facilities.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of shipment and inventory transactions within company systems.
- Monitor shipment performance and proactively follow up on transportation activities.
- Analyze transactions, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Provide customer service and support through effective communication with customers, vendors, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
- Assist with reporting, data analysis, and administrative functions to support operational and commercial objectives.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation while ensuring compliance with company procedures.
- Support departmental goals through collaboration, continuous improvement efforts, and other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
Required
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and solve problems effectively.
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
- Customer-service-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Accounting, or a related field.
- Two years of logistics, transportation, supply chain, recycling, commodities, or related experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience working with inventory, transportation, contract management, or ERP systems.
- Experience in the recycling, metals, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
