Basic Job Functions:

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

• Duties of the role include but are not limited to: 
• Perform monthly Scale Checking account bank reconciliations for assigned Divisions. 
• Perform monthly ATM & safe cash reconciliations for assigned Divisions. 
• Perform monthly lockbox (concentration account)/cash receipts reconciliations for assigned Divisions. 
• Monitor ATM cash usage for assigned Divisions, and work with Brinks to adjust standing orders as needed. 
• Work with Brinks to resolve vault cash balance differences and address delivery issues. 
• Primary responsibility for CRM new supplier approval, and review/creation of supplier alternate payment addresses. 
• Match/enter mill weights for assigned Divisions.  Review accounts receivable and follow up on missing mill weights and payments. 
• Apply cash to open AR. 
• Work with The David J Joseph Company IT department directly to resolve Brokerage and Metals Group interface issues. 
• Primary responsibility for handling Helpdesk support tickets assigned to the group. 
• Work with Division personnel to address issues with:  Security/access, shipment reversals, payment & ticket voids, freight issues. 
• Work directly with transaction accounting software support to resolve issues that cannot be corrected internally. 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Desire and aptitude for promotion, including relocation 
• Experience with business intelligence tools such as PowerBI 
• CPA and/or Advanced Business degree 
• Manufacturing or Public Accounting experience
