Project Manager

Basic Job Functions:

Key responsibilities of this role include:

• Manage multiple projects from concept to execution while overseeing complex processes and system interdependencies and providing status updates to all stakeholders throughout the life cycle.
• Guide a cross-functional team through the Design Thinking and/or Agile processes, from discovery to delivery.
• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure ongoing alignment on project goals.
• Build and maintain relationships within the business as well as 3rd party vendors, suppliers, and consultants.
• Establish clear goals, plans, and timelines, galvanizing the team towards achieving project milestones.
• Ensure high-quality results by employing the best practices in project management.
• Provide risk and resource management by anticipating bottlenecks, prioritizing projects, highlighting tradeoffs, balancing business needs versus technical constraints, and escalating decisions to managers as needed.
• Serve as a change agent by considering strategic objectives, evaluating customer impacts, and assisting with feasibility analysis on potential future projects and emerging technologies.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Knowledge of user-centered design and Design Thinking methodologies
• Knowledge of software development best practices such as Agile methodologies
• 3+ years of experience in either project management and/or leadership role

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in technical fields such as Engineering, Business, Computer Science, etc.
• Experience applying PMI project management framework to manage projects
• Certifications such as PMP, Agile, and/or Design Thinking
