Shift
This role is on 3rd shift. Shift hours are customarily 11p-7a but may vary based on department/business need.
Basic Job Functions
At Fastener, our Tool Crib Attendant is responsible for providing inventoried parts and other supplies to our maintenance and production teams as requested. Additional duties may include, but are not limited to, responsibility of processing receivers, executing inventory transactions, cycle counting, confirming inventory accuracy and general housekeeping.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License to become forklift certified
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that may include scheduled and unscheduled overtime, weekends, and/or holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with vendors and contractors
- Customer service experience
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Previous forklift experience
- Prior industrial, commercial and/or automotive storeroom experience
- Strategic sourcing experience
- Inventory control/management experience
- Associate’s degree in business or related field
