Basic Job Functions:

The role of Inside Sales Manager begins with developing relationships with our production, outside sales, technical, and shipping teams, as well as our external customers.  Job duties include, but are not limited to, understanding and articulating Nucor Fasteners division strategy, leading all commercial-related functions, including managing and developing the Inside Sales team, managing product mix, pricing, and profitability, and some travel to support customers. 

 

This position will demonstrate a strong desire for professional growth, with a clear aspiration to advance into a Department Manager role within 2 to 4 years.  

 

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, technical, or related field OR 5 years experience in a Sales Leadership role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous customer service or sales experience
  • Previous leadership experience
  • Willing to relocate for future leadership opportunities 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, D365)
