Basic Job Functions:

The scheduler will be responsible for scheduling production throughout the facility, balancing the needs of the customers and market, optimizing finished goods inventory and supporting the sales department. Track and improve material programs, including supply chain management, finished inventory planning, and Inventory KPI measurements. Effective interaction with all personnel at the facility. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent and/or 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment.

Business Intelligence Development : Knowledge of business development tools or systems, including design of related databases, spreadsheets or outputs.

Preferred Qualifications:

Rebar product knowledge

 

Prior scheduling & planning experience in steelmaking
