Maintenance Electrical Supervisor - NSSED

Basic Job Functions:

The Maintenance Electrical Supervisor responsibilities include, but are not limited to, taking care of our customers by executing the division’s safety, quality, cost, productivity and profitability objectives. This position will be responsible for safely guiding/ directing all aspects of an electrical maintenance team to include developing, leading, and sustaining maintenance processes focused on safety, customer service, and productivity; project management; long term goals and strategy; hiring and recruiting teammates and working collaboratively to ensure the best interests of Nucor are met. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum 2-year degree in an electrical/electronic discipline or equivalent technical training and experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience working in industrial electrical maintenance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a leadership role
• Project Management experience
• Advanced training/certifications in Electrical/Mechanical maintenance
• Siemens automation experience
