Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Steel Sedalia, LLC is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Inside Sales Manager. The job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

(1)  Champion a culture of safety, creating safety as a value, (2) Develop and execute on commercial goals while providing world class customer service, (3) Be a leader outside of commercial role and execute on operational metrics, (4) Maintain inventory control process to manage cash, (5) Coordinate contract reviews, (6) Facilitate continuous improvement across the organization (7) Drive integration with production scheduler. Relocation and routine travel is expected.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards, at all times.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years sales or leadership experience and/or degree in related field.

Preferences:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Experience in the metals and/or manufacturing industry
  • Knowledge of steel markets - Proven Computer Skills – Proficient in Microsoft Office/D365/etc.
  • Forecasting/Analytical Experience
