Associate Controller

Basic Job Functions:

The Associate Division Controller is a division-based leadership position that will include direct reports and leadership responsibilities, including, but not limited to the following: Become embedded with the division leadership team in achieving safety, business, and profit objectives. Lead, model, nurture and advance the Nucor culture. Work closely with group finance leadership to drive safety, profitability, controls environment, and business acumen. Lead a group of direct reports as assigned by the division. Participate in coaching and development of finance teammates to build the talent bench. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• This position is a developmental position for future Division Controllers. This individual must be pursuing a career path toward finance leadership and be willing to relocate for future advancement positions within Nucor.
• 3 years leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Four-year Accounting or Finance degree or equivalent
• CPA, CFA, and/or MBA
