Compensation Data

Salary Range $155,000 - $275,000 annually

Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Steel Seattle is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Sales Manager.

The job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Leadership role in promoting Nucor’s Mission ensuring safety is instilled as a value, an appropriate focus on community & environmental stewardship, and a proven focus on profitability.
  • Develop and execute a commercial and sales strategy, being a team leader in the Bar Group Sales and Marketing group, while providing world class customer service
  •  Developing team members through building relationships, training, and individual coaching
  • Analyzing data and situations, thinking strategically, negotiating effectively, and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Working collaboratively within the team to motivate and inspire an entire operation as part of the Leadership Team at Nucor Steel Seattle.

Relocation and routine travel is expected. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards, always.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Five years combined experience in commercial, sales and/or marketing

  • Business Acumen - General business knowledge and an understanding of how Nucor makes money.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Sales or commercial leadership experience in steel and/or manufacturing
