Basic Job Functions:

The HR Coordinator is primarily responsible for leading full-cycle recruitment efforts, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating hiring activities, and supporting workforce planning initiatives. In addition to recruiting, this role provides supports and assists with all other HR functions as needed.  The HR Coordinator reports directly to the HR & Talent Manager.

 

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Two years of work experience in an Recruiting, HR related field
  • OR a combination of related work experience and education

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Payroll, Recruiting and HR experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • SAP or similar HRIS experience
  • HR Certification
