Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Skyline is seeking a leader for the position of Sales Manager. This Department Manager level position reports directly to the President. Job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

•    Leadership role in promoting Nucor’s Mission ensuring safety is instilled as a value, an appropriate focus on community & environmental stewardship, and a proven focus on profitability.
•    Develop and execute a strategic marketing plan and sales strategy for the division that is aligned with the Nucor Enterprise Commercial Strategy.
•    Developing team members through building relationships, training, and individual coaching.
•    Analyze data and utilize commercial experience to think and lead strategically.
•    Work collaboratively within the Nucor Skyline Leadership team to motivate and inspire the entire division.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

•    Five years' combined experience in commercial, sales, and/or marketing.

Preferred Qualifications:

1.    Four-year degree in Business or Marketing.
2.    Three or more years of Sales/Commercial Leadership in heavy industrial or Civil/Industrial Construction environment.
3.    Willing to relocate within Nucor as future advancement opportunities arise.
