Basic Job Functions:


Skyline Steel, LLC, a division of Nucor, the nation's largest recycler and largest manufacturer of steel and steel products, is seeking a qualified applicant for the position of Inside Sales Representative for our Associate Pile and Fitting (APF) division. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: (Located in Rock Hill, SC)
•    Building and maintaining strong and effective relationships with customers in the region.
•    Effectively quoting and managing orders throughout the entire sales cycle. Specific duties include utilizing the CRM system to support the region’s sales strategy, developing inquiries, tracking inquiries to convert inquiries into orders, sourcing material, proposing pricing, arranging transportation, organizing logistics and delivery schedules and supplying details for timely billing.
•    Ability to communicate with in-house and outside engineering teams on specifications, strength calculations etc.  Willingness to also work with our marketing team on updates and drawings on our website.
•    In alignment with the sales strategy, working with the Sales Manager to determine the optimum mix of sales volume, gross profit and market share in conjunction with the strategy for the region.
•    Handling changes from the customer and the internal/external communication required to execute and document said changes.
•    Assisting the Sales Manager or an Outside Sales Representative on bids, orders, and projects, as requested.
•    Position will require approximately 20% travel.

Minimum Qualifications:

•    Four-year college degree, or High School Diploma and minimum 1-year experience in Sales Support, Inside Sales or similar role.
•    1+ Years’ experience with MS Office, excellent computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

•    1+ year experience in Sales Support, Inside Sales or similar role
•    Construction experience
•    Project Management experience
