Purpose: Lead the coordination and execution of rebar detailing, modular prefabrication, and BIM workflows across complex construction projects. This role requires strong project management, technical expertise in 3D modeling, and the ability to drive collaboration across internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver efficient, cost-effective solutions.

Responsibilities

  •  Lead end-to-end project management, including contract review, detailing coordination, scheduling, delivery, and cost control.

  •  Support change order review and processing; ensure accurate documentation and customer communication.
  •  Develop and maintain standardized modular workflows—from initial concept through modeling, fabrication, delivery, and on-site installation.
  •  Train and support internal teams (modelers, ironworkers, detailers) on modular design, prefab logistics, and rebar placement strategies.
  •  Create modular loading diagrams and analyze cost data to improve forecasting, budgeting, and efficiency for future projects.
  •  Contribute to the development and adoption of 3D modeling standards and tools such as Tekla.
  •  Represent Nucor Rebar Fabrication in project meetings, maintaining strong client relationships and alignment with company objectives.
  •  Perform other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager or supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
  • Demonstrated construction project management experience or at least ten years of reinforcing steel sales, detailing, fabrication, placing, or related steel industry experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in BIM coordination and project management within construction or fabrication environments.
  • Proficiency in Tekla or similar 3D modeling software.
  • Strong understanding of modular construction workflows, rebar detailing, fabrication, and installation.
  • Working knowledge of ACI codes, CRSI standards, and basic contract law.
  • Effective leadership and team coordination skills; able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, with a focus on relationship management and dispute resolution.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management abilities.
  • Familiarity with standard business practices and human relations in a project-driven environment.
