Basic Job Functions:

Responsibilities for the Shipping Coordinator include, but are not limited to:

  • Set up and coordinate deliveries with vendors, customers, and carriers.
  • Maintain a level-loaded shipping/ receiving schedule.
  • Work with Customer Service, Production, Scheduling, Supply Chain, and loading teams to maintain an up-to-date, accurate, and balanced shipping schedule.
  • Ensure that all shipping documents are current and comply with all Federal and Company requirements.
  • Reconcile production and shipping records to ensure complete shipment of material.
  • Maintain up-to-date records for the Shipping and Leadership Team.
  • Initiate and participate in freight rate negotiations.
  • Utilize logistics tools to execute NIPG freight strategy.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Experience with MS Office products.
