Basic Job Functions:
Responsibilities for the Shipping Coordinator include, but are not limited to:
- Set up and coordinate deliveries with vendors, customers, and carriers.
- Maintain a level-loaded shipping/ receiving schedule.
- Work with Customer Service, Production, Scheduling, Supply Chain, and loading teams to maintain an up-to-date, accurate, and balanced shipping schedule.
- Ensure that all shipping documents are current and comply with all Federal and Company requirements.
- Reconcile production and shipping records to ensure complete shipment of material.
- Maintain up-to-date records for the Shipping and Leadership Team.
- Initiate and participate in freight rate negotiations.
- Utilize logistics tools to execute NIPG freight strategy.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Experience with MS Office products.

- 4 years of similar work in a logistics or shipping department
