Receiver

Basic Job Functions:

Kirby is seeking applicants for the position of Receiving Inspector.  

This position will include but is not limited to the safe performance of the job duties listed below:

• Accept, unload, store and document the production raw materials and finished goods.  * Use of mobile equipment & heavy mobile equipment will be required.
• Verification of received materials to established industry and Quality standards.
• Perform material rotation as needed.
• Management of recyclable and waste materials.
• Perform in process inspections as needed.
• Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Mobile equipment operation experience.
• Computer skills to include Word and Excel.
• Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Receiving experience.
• Heavy mobile equipment operation experience.
• Working knowledge of BOMs and Great Plains.
