Basic Job Functions:
Use computer operated machine to load various sizes of bar stock to be sheared and punched to make detail plates for structural and cold form pieces. Maintain records of all quantities produced and materials used.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be able to read blueprints and use a variety of measuring tools
- Knowledge or ability and willingness to learn computer programs used to run the machine on a daily basis.
