Basic Job Functions:

The Assistant Project Coordinator role is intended to lead to a position as a Project Coordinator. 

 

Responsibilities of the Assistant Project Coordinator include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting the Project Coordinators in managing orders, assuring accuracy, and completeness of required documentation.
  • Assists with coordination and management of transfer projects for KBS.
  • Assisting in the coordination of resources between departments to maximize profit on each job.
  • Multi-tasking between projects, scheduling, pricing, phone & email correspondence
  • Serves as secondary for the Sales Service Admin for warranty and other Admin duties.
  • Travel in a supporting role to sales meetings, customer’s offices, and jobsites.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Background in computer use with skills in Microsoft Office
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for Visa sponsorship now and in the future. (Nucor will not sponsor the need for a Visa now or in the future)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with support or servicing internal and/or external customers
  • Four years of metal building experience in the areas of detailing, design, estimating, customer service, or production
