Basic Job Functions:
The role of the Accounting Coordinator will be as follows:
- Collect, record, and balance daily invoicing, cash, credit card, and check payments
- Process and apply customer payments, debits, and credits
- Research and solve payment discrepancies
- Submit various intercompany billing items
- Assist with monthly sales tax filings
- Assist and serve as a backup to the Credit Analyst
- Process and reconcile purchasing card activity
- Partner with other departments across org to perform analysis and evaluate financial results
- Assist with general ledger accounting
- Support other roles within the accounting department

Minimum Qualifications:
- Supervisor and/or manager recommendation
- High School Diploma
- Associate degree or 2 years of experience in Accounting (Accounts Payable, Receivable) or Finance
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of previous experience with accounting, finance, or business administration
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, etc.)
- Experience in utilizing D365 software
- Secondary education a plus
