Basic Job Functions:
The Payroll Administrator’s responsibility will be handling all payroll related administration duties for Nucor Steel Utah. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Being responsible for payroll processing, reporting, tax filing, etc.; working effectively with teammates at all levels of the organization on potentially sensitive and/or confidential information; assisting in the administration of various company sponsored programs/projects (i.e. service awards, scholarships, educational reimbursement, etc.); assisting with benefits administration; and other miscellaneous office related activities such as answering phones. Position requires high level of attention to detail, integrity, ethical character and honesty in all actions. Safety is an important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead and uphold safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards to make safety a priority at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Possesses excellent computer skills using Microsoft Office applications, and other computer software/applications
• Due to the sensitivity and confidentiality required of the position candidates must not have immediate family currently working at NSUT
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior Human Resources experience or comparable education
• Degree in Human Resources or related field
• SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SPHR certification
• Prior payroll administration experience
• Prior experience/knowledge of SAP and ATS software
