Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Business Technology (NBT), is seeking qualified applicants for the position of IT Operations Technician II. The IT Operations Technician II will be part of the NBT Infrastructure Team which is responsible for configuring, operating, and maintaining various enterprise-wide systems as well as supporting internal IT partners across the enterprise.
- The IT Operations Technician II is responsible for providing technical support, installing, configuring, testing, and supporting various business applications as well as various business and infrastructure hardware (networking, computers, camera systems, ATMs, wireless hand-held devices, etc.).
- This is a fulltime, permanent position with the Nucor Business Technology team and relocation to Orlando, FL is required.
- Travel up to 50% is required.

Minimum Qualifications:
- IT related bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of experience and education will also be considered
- 3 years of experience of IT support
- Aptitude to learn new skills in the first 90 days
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to support users in both remote and in-person environments
- Proficiency with Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory, Office 365, Windows OS, and Group Policy
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, including implementation or support of Azure-based solutions
- Ability to manage hardware and inventory, including ordering, configuring, and maintaining accurate records of IT equipment
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to analyze issues, evaluate options, and implement effective solutions independently
- Flexibility and availability to work nights, weekends, and travel up to 50% as needed
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across teams and departments
- Relevant certifications preferred, such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft AZ-900, or similar
