Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Steel Nebraska is seeking applicants for the position of Supply Warehouse Rover.
The responsibilities of the Supply Warehouse Rover includes, but is not limited to, providing excellent customer service in performing the following duties:
- Assisting teammates to find and issue parts
- Shelving parts
- General housekeeping/organization
- Cycle counting
- Utilization of CMMS system
- Operation of overhead crane, forklift, and other equipment as required
- Other duties as assigned.
The Supply Warehouse Rover will temporarily fill the Supply Warehouse Counterperson position when position is vacant and, if successful, be awarded the Counterperson position permanently. Candidates must be willing to work rotating shifts and scheduled/unscheduled overtime, including nights, weekends and holidays. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US (Nucor will not sponsor the need for a visa now or in the future).
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with IFS and Oracle
- Experience in Supply Warehouse
