Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Steel – Nebraska is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Coil Handler (NN1). This position is responsible for, but not limited to, assisting at the turnstile, bar cradles, reform station, inspecting the quality of the product, and filling in where needed on shift. Candidates must be able to work rotating shifts and scheduled/unscheduled overtime, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US (Nucor Steel Nebraska will not sponsor the need for a visa now or in the future).
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Forklift and Crane certified.
