Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Business Technology (NBT), is seeking qualified applicants for the position of IT Operations Administrator. Individuals who meet the minimum qualifications and are interested in this opportunity should upload a resume when applying online. The IT Operations Technician will be part of the NBT Infrastructure Team which is responsible for partnering with and supporting teammates at divisions.

 

The IT Operations Administrator responsibilities include but are not limited to providing in-person and remote technical support. Deploys and manages Azure subscription, resources and storage. Evaluates operational needs and recommend solutions. Research products, services, protocols and standards. Plans and manages projects related to area of responsibility. Monitors automated alerts generated by systems management tools and makes decisions on the most effective resolution.

 

Candidate should display:

 

· Effective oral and written communications skills, and able to work effectively with users in remote locations.

· Must have excellent customer service skills.

· Demonstrated ability to prioritize support requests efficiently.

· Exemplary in work ethic and positivity.

· Aptitude in developing trustworthy relationships within a team, across teams, and throughout the organization.

· Willingness to work on an “as needed” basis, including nights and weekends.

 

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

 

· IT related bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of experience and education will also be considered.

· Three years of experience of IT support

· Aptitude to learn new skills in the first 90 days.

· AZ-900 Certification

· AZ-104 Certification

· AZ-040T00-A Certification

· AZ-305 Certification

· Terraform Foundations Certification

· Cloud Migration Experience

· Microsoft ADO Experience

· Agile Mindset Experience
