Basic Job Functions:
The Quality Coordinator provides support to the NWS team for all NWS products from design through project completion including, but not limited to, investigations, problem solving, training and claims. This role will be based out of
(1) Monroe Ga. and will have a primary focus on NWS products.
• Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
• Receive calls from job sites and gather necessary information to validate claims. Determine the cause and the most efficient/cost effective solutions.
• Review internal documents to investigate, record, and report all service and product performance issues.
• Identify trending quality issues and recommend solutions.
• May make occasional trips to jobsites for trouble shooting and extensive claim investigations.
• Participate in and help lead department or division quality meetings

Minimum Qualifications:
- 1 years’ experience in rack manufacturing environment or construction related equivalent
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Background in blueprint reading and interpretation.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook) / computer skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft D365
- Excellent organizational skills
- American Welding Society CWI Certification or ability to obtain within 12 months
Preferred Qualifications:
- Participation in division safety teams / efforts
- Familiarity & experience with resolving SMR’s
- Good communication, ability to accurately track site issues & create reports
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and city and county license requirements documents
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
