Basic Job Functions:
- Prepare competitive, accurate, and comprehensive estimates for racking systems in accordance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Develop detailed proposals, including all project qualifications, assumptions, and supporting information.
- Support sales efforts by identifying cost-effective solutions and value-engineering alternatives that meet project requirements.
- Participate in customer meetings, primarily during the proposal and project closing stages, to present value-engineering recommendations.
- Utilize estimating software, pricing tools, and product knowledge to accurately assess all project costs.
- Maintain awareness of material costs, fabrication methods, and installation requirements to ensure accurate in-place project costing.
- Meet deadlines established by the Sales Service Supervisor, sales team, and builders.
- Assist in developing and improving estimating tools, standards, and processes to enhance department productivity and accuracy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.
- Working experience in project coordination, sales, customer service, estimating, or other comparable area.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 proficiency, preferred.
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in Architecture or Engineering.
- Basic understanding of racking engineering requirements preferred.
- Experience in steel rack supported structures and/ or related industry.
