Engineer

Basic Job Functions:

• Preparation of proposal layout, description, timeline, RFQs, specifications, project reports and budgets for capital and other large projects
• Obtain, review, compare, and negotiate contractor and vendor quotes
• Updating and creation of plant and equipment drawings
• Work with operations teams to troubleshoot plant issues, interpret and explain drawings
• Assist in root cause analysis, defining and documenting current processes for continuous improvement
• Design of and improvement to small parts/equipment
• Knowledge of current codes, regulations, and standards in various disciplines
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to accommodate occasional travel

Preferred Qualifications:

• +2 years’ experience in industrial controls, electrical, mechanical, mechatronics or electro-mechanical engineering
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechatronics or electro-mechanical engineering
• Possess fundamental control theory knowledge
• Proficient with AutoCAD
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Project management experience
• Experience with Siemens PLCs
• Experience troubleshooting robotic/ automation equipment
