Basic Job Functions:

The Rebar Fabrication Shift Lead’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:
•    Leading unmatched excellence in safety. Relentlessly ensure Safety is our #1 value
•    Developing a World-Class Production Department by creating positive results in Safety, Profitability, and Development of Future Talent
•    Investing in self-development to better serve the team
•    Aiding the Production Supervisor in meeting all NRF Milton goals as well as:
          Cultivating Nucor Culture by clearly communicating expectations, coaching, developing, and training Teammates
          Using integrity and courage to hold the team accountability to meeting expectations
          Working collaboratively with other departments for positive results in safety, quality, cost, and productivity
          Recognizing opportunities to maximize profitability
          Building trust and teamwork by motivating, inspiring, empowering, and supporting
•    Lead with gratitude

 

Minimum Qualifications:

•    Demonstrated commitment to safety, and the ability to create and maintain a strong safety culture
•    In “good standing” status and recommendation from supervisor and/or manager
•    Willingness to work unplanned, unscheduled overtime, weekends, holidays, and rotating shift
•    Willingness to work in extreme situations including: hot, cold, and rainy weather; dusty conditions; and a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
