Warehouse Receiver

Basic Job Functions:

The role of the Warehouse Receiver consists of, but is not limited to: Receiving supplies and services; Outgoing shipments; Stocking warehouse items; inventory control of warehouse items; Cycle counting; Assisting delivery personnel and vendors; Assisting contractors and teammates in locating needed parts and supplies; Operating forklift; Processing computer transactions within our inventory system; Housekeeping in all Warehouse areas; and other tasks related to the successful operation of the Warehouse.  Able to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.  Able to work closely with all departments to deliver exceptional service to our customers while maintaining the highest standards for courtesy, knowledge, and ethics.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. One year previous Warehouse experience or related field experience
2. One year previous experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning system or inventory control

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Previous forklift experience
2. Oracle e-Business Suite experience
