Warehouse Counter

Basic Job Functions:

The role of the Warehouse Counter consists of, but is not limited to: Receiving; Shipping; Stocking; inventory control of warehouse items; Cycle counting; Assisting delivery personnel and vendors; Assisting contractors and teammates in locating needed parts and supplies; Operating forklift; Processing computer transactions within our inventory system; Housekeeping in all Warehouse areas; and other tasks related to the successful operation of the Warehouse. Able to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed. Able to work closely with all departments to deliver exceptional service to our customers while maintaining the highest standards for courtesy, knowledge and ethics. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Willing to work nights / weekends on rotating shift 

2. Min 6 months Warehouse/ Receiving Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Previous forklift experience
2. Previous Warehouse experience
3. Oracle e-Business Suite experience or other inventory control system
