Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Steel Memphis is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Outside Processing (OSP) Coordinator. This position reports to the Scheduling supervisor / Sales Supervisor.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure Safety, Environmental, Quality requirements are followed.
- Frequent interaction and contact with Division departments, ISRs, customers, and outside processors.
- OSP Coordinator will work directly with ISRs, DSMs, and customers who want our products that require additional processing.
- Teammates will develop relationships with our outside processors to qualify them to mutually ensure we are able to meet customer requirements.
- Provide a single point of contact for external processors.
- Handle all mill unplanned processing needs.
- Work closely with inside sales to ensure OSP orders are being processed effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of part status, vendor lead times, and delivery dates
- Ensure all documentation (certifications, packing slips, etc.) is received and filed appropriately
- Assist in developing contingency plans for supply chain disruptions
- Personal growth, development and leadership within the Memphis Sales Team and Division are vital functions of this role.
- Candidates must be able and willing to travel.

Minimum Qualifications:
- 2+ years’ experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or vendor coordination
- Demonstrable experience coordinating/scheduling process units.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or 5 years of experience in a related field with a focus on internal/external customer satisfaction.
- Familiarity with Q&T processes and secondary operations
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications is desired. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with EBS and Oracle products a plus
