Maintenance Planner/Repair Coordinator

Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Steel Memphis is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Maintenance Planner. This position includes, but is not limited to, planning and scheduling work orders, down days, maintenance outages, and PM’s; tracking contractor hours and scheduling contractor jobs; generating requisitions for parts and labor as needed; organizing and documenting equipment repairs and critical spares; leading weekly planning meetings and shutdown meetings; analyzing data and generating reports; and visiting the job site to review the job scope. This position provides support to the rolling mill by working closely with Operations and Maintenance teammates to safely maintain, repair, and upgrade rolling mill mechanical equipment. A successful candidate in this role will demonstrate the core values of Nucor while focusing on safety, equipment reliability, cost control, and continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. 5 years industrial maintenance experience as electrical or mechanical technician

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with EBS or similar CMMS

2. Heat Treat/Offline knowledge
