HEAT TREAT/OFFLINE MECHANICAL LEAD

Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Steel Memphis, Inc. has an opening for Heat Treat/Offline Maintenance Lead. The successful candidate will work closely with operations teams to safely maintain and improve the production equipment and process. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, leading the Heat Treat/Offline electrical and mechanical team in maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading production equipment and providing operations support. 

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
 

Minimum Qualifications:

1. 3 years’ work experience in maintenance
2. 1 year experience in knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles, equipment and maintenance techniques
3. Two Year degree or equivalent technical training and experience

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Previous Leadership Experience
2. Steel Mill / Rolling mill /Heat Treat/ NDT experience
3. 4 year Engineering Degree
