Basic Job Functions:

The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to: leading accounting/finance team members and processes, various financial and cost analyses for driving continuous improvement across all aspects of the business, and involvement in corporate wide and product group initiatives along with other related duties to support the department, division and company.  

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

•    Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in accounting or finance
•    Five year’s experience in financial accounting or finance related field

Preferred Qualifications:

•    CPA or CMA certification
•    Master’s Degree with an emphasis in accounting or finance
•    Experience in one or more of the following disciplines: accounting, credit and collections, information technology, financial analysis, project management, people development, procurement, human resources, contract management, risk management, internal controls, business law
•    ERP system experience including Oracle, One Stream, etc.
•    Desire and mobility to become a Controller or Department Manager
•    Previous Leadership experience
•    Previous manufacturing experience
