Basic Job Functions:

 

The Accounting Clerk is responsible for the receipt of accounting of funds being paid to the organization at the C.H.I. Overhead Doors Manchester, New Hampshire service center location. The Accounting Clerk also serves as an auditor, ensuring that invoices are accurate and that proper accounting procedures are followed to account for the receipt of payment for goods and services completed by the organization. The Accounting Clerk also serves as a Customer Service Representative for the New Hampshire service center location, assisting internal and external customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of C.H.I. products and programs as well as communicating effectively with team members.

 

Additional Functions:

 

  • Daily invoicing and balancing
  • Collects, records, and balances daily cash, credit card, and check payments
  • Prepares daily cash and check deposits to send to the bank
  • Researches and solves payment discrepancies
  • Works with accountants to establish and maintain payment plans for customers
  • Answering telephones, providing customer assistance, quoting, order entry, order processing, and record keeping
  • Maintain proper handling and filing of sensitive material and records through the observation of operation's internal controls

 

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • 2 years of previous experience in accounting, finance, business administration, or customer service 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or other discipline
  • 5 years of previous experience in accounting, finance, business administration, or customer service
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, etc.)
