Basic Job Functions:

 

Nucor Warehouse Systems is seeking qualified candidates for the Sales Supervisor position located in Vernon California. Compensation consists of salary plus ROA and reports to the Sales Manager. This is a fast-paced position that is responsible for taking care of our customers by leading the NWS inside sales team as well as working closely with the entire NWS leadership team. The responsibilities of this position include daily leadership, fostering collaboration across the division, while also coaching and mentoring the inside sales team. This role is directly managing a team that is nationwide. Working closely with the Sales Manager to shape commercial strategy, as well as working with other Nucor product groups to adopt best practices and policies. Be willing to work a flexible schedule and travel as needed to other divisions, customers or job sites.

 

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Three or more years of steel/product sales or commercial experience 
  • Experience leading a team of multiple individuals
  • Must be able to travel 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience within Nucor
  • Four-year degree in Business/Marketing, Engineering or Construction is desired
  • 2 years of steel racking industry experience
  • 2 or more years of professional experience in sales, project management, or Team leadership
  • Willing to relocate within Nucor as future advancement opportunities arise
