Basic Job Functions:
As a Production Team Lead, you’ll work alongside your supervisor and crew to keep a fast-paced, high-volume production line running safely, efficiently and profitably. You’ll be the person your teammates look to when the pressure is on – a successful candidate is someone who leads by example, and does the following:
- Creates a safety culture so strong that every teammate goes home the same way they came in – every shift. No exceptions.
- Drives the team’s growth and development because a stronger team means better outcomes for everyone
- Takes ownership of the line’s performance and helps drive results the whole team is proud of
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Previous team lead/supervisory experience
- Working knowledge of production processes
Preferred Qualifications:
- D365 experience
- Previous rack manufacturing experience
- Previous welding experience
