National Account Manager

Basic Job Functions:

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key national accounts.
• Act as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure satisfaction and successful delivery of solutions.
• Identify opportunities to expand business within existing accounts and pursue new account acquisitions.
• Develop and execute account-specific strategies to meet revenue and growth targets.
• Work closely with sales, design, operations, and project management teams to ensure seamless execution of projects.
• Serve as the voice of the customer within NWS to align internal priorities with customer needs.
• Monitor and analyze account performance against established KPIs.
• Provide regular updates to leadership on account activity, sales pipelines, and market trends.
• Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
• Represent NWS at industry events, conferences, and trade shows as required.
• Keep abreast of market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging customer needs.
• Provide input into product development and sales strategies based on market insights and customer feedback.
• Be a subject matter expert with D365
• Create, review, and modify quotes; BOM, pricing and lead times.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 10 – 12 years experience as Sales Representative, or business development experience within the material handling sector.
• 10 – 12years of experience in sales and/ or customer service experience.
• A solid understanding of the Material Handling Industry. Proven commitment to safety, and the ability to create a culture of safety in their team.
• Exhibits characteristics consistent with Nucor culture.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 proficiency, preferred.
• Minimum education: AA degree in business, preferred.
• Basic understanding of racking engineering requirements preferred.
