Material Handler (Forklift) - NWSCA - Welding

Basic Job Functions:

• The Material Handler will be working in givens and will pull hardware and buyout materials.
• Prepare and stage orders.
• Lift and pull hardware using a sit-down forklift.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory management within the plant.
• Other duties as assigned and modifiable job responsibilities. 

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years operating a sit-down forklift.
• Previous experience pulling material within the welding department.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Previous material handling experience (six months to a year).

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of relevant inventory experience in the material handling or fulfillment industries.
• Bilingual - English and Spanish-language.
