The successful candidate will be responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance across a range of critical systems — including spindle carriers, loopers, Quench and Temper Line components, the Fast Finishing Block, Roughing Mill hubs, Finishing Mill stands, and Air/Oil systems. Working as part of the Roll Shop team, this individual will also collaborate closely with both the Rolling Mill and Maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability and performance excellence.

This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, initiative, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement. The ideal candidate thrives in a team environment but can also work independently to diagnose, plan, and execute maintenance activities with precision and efficiency.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
